HI all,

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.901-5499.aspx
any help much appreciated.Claimed £1780.33 from Halifax Credit card unfair charges !!:beer:Claimed:£164.00,£306.00,£236.00,£1593.51!!£2473.88!!£164.00,586.00,753.00 from Natwest PPI0 -
Or should I go for the one from the Hut on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nintendo-Wii-C...item3efb29db81
and find a cheap wii fit plus and board?? (if so where from?)
as the one from the hut mentions and nunchuck and remote!
What I am ideally looking for is:
Wii + wii fit (with the board)
Nunchuck (been told you need this!?)
Controller 1/2?? (not sure whats best)
and a couple of games to get me started.
Oh and finally something cheap!!! (I know we all are!!)
Going to keep looking but my internet is working at a snails pace so any help very much appreciated!!!Claimed £1780.33 from Halifax Credit card unfair charges !!:beer:Claimed:£164.00,£306.00,£236.00,£1593.51!!£2473.88!!£164.00,586.00,753.00 from Natwest PPI0 -

The standard Wii console packages come with one Wiiremote Controller (the rectangular one) and one numchuck (the egg shaped one). It also includes Wii Sports. The numchuck plugs into the Wiiremote in some games.
The newer packages also include Wii Sports Resort and the motion plus addon for the Wiiremote - you need this to play the game.
You don't need to buy a second controller as most of the games like bowling allow you to specify that there are x number of players using 1 controller and it waits for you to hand the controller to the next player.
To play things like tennis, you do need a second Wiiremote and if you want to play games that use the motionplus add on, you need a second one of those too. There aren't too many two player games that need a second numchuck so you can probably do without another of those.
Personally, I would recommend getting one of the newer Wii + Wii Fit Plus packages for around £225 - Toys R Us are consistently the cheapest for bundles like this but are out of stock at the moment. It's the same package you've linked to from Tesco but £5 more expensive.
I would also get a second Wiiremote if you can afford it, and this is where it gets complicated...!
If you want to buy a second Wiiremote, the cost is around £35 - £40 for a black one including a motion plus addon. I don't think they do a white one including motion plus yet, so you would need to buy a controller for around £25 - £30 and a separate motion plus add on for £17 on it's own. You can also buy the controller with the Wii Play game for about the same as the controller on it's own if you look around, and the motion plus add on with Wii Sports Resort for around £35.
In theory, you could also find the old Wii Fit game and board for around £55 (I think Morrisons were selling them off for that before Christmas), buy the new Wii Fit Plus game (the boards are the same) for about £15 - £20, then sell your old Wii Fit game on eBay.0 -
If you aren't worried about getting Sports Resort then Shopto are doing it for £134.85 with Wii Sports
http://www.shopto.net/WII/HARDWARE/W...i%20Sport.html
That's the old style bundle which doesn't include a motion plus add on which you need for some games and will probably need one for more and more newer games as they come out.
To buy a motion plus addon with Wii Sports Resort is another £34 which makes the price more than you can buy the newer bundle packages.0 -

Please let me know if anyone has seen it cheaper. I do not need it to be the black one, will be happy with whatever is cheapest. Just want the console as already have some games.
Thanks

Can anyone help me.
I am looking to get a Wii. I am not totally sure of how many remotes, numchucks (or whatever they are called) I will actually need. Most of time will just be my and my boyfriend playing but sometimes my housemate too. Also do I need a motion plus? Do i need one for each remote? Are the remote the controller?
I am wanting a bundle with Wii sports and maybe sports resort. If I can get it with Wii fit at a cheap price then even better and do what this but not sure if it is best to get this seperate.
As you can tell I am not up to speed when it comes to the Wii as it has so many bits and pieces.
Would be grateful for any help.0 -

This is a good deal but currently out of stock - hxxp : / / www. play . com/ Games/Wii/4-/13193908/Black-Nintendo-Wii-Console-including-Wii-Sports-+-Wii-Sports-Resort-+-Wii-Fit-Plus/Product.html?add=13193908
I am waiting for it to come back into stock.
If you buy a Wii on its own, you will only get One WiiMote. Ideally you want to buy a further seperate WiiMote and 2 Nunchucks (they connect to the base of the WiiMotes), one for each WiiMote. This will then allow you to play and get the most out of, the majority of the games.
Wii Motion Plus is a new add on which plugs into the bottom of your WiiMote and makes your movements a lot more realistic and accurate. It's definetly worth getting for getting the most out of all the new games that support it. Again, you will need one each for every WiiMote you have.0 -
Does anyone know where the cheapest place is to buy a Wii Fit plus board please? Thanks muchly :-):jLoves freebies! :j

Can only see it for 85 Quid from play.com !! It's sold out everywhere else. I think I might hold out a couple of weeks, hopefully more stock will come in and price stabilises a little.0
