Just had an early Christmas present.

Slightly off topic for this thread but I have had the best early Christmas/Birthday(on 22nd) pressy I could ask for. After 11 months, lot's of expence & 3 previous test on my 4th attempt today I passed my driving test.
I cannot believe it!
At the grand old age of 46 (on Friday) i've finally done it.
FREEDOM HERE I COME!!!!
I fell the need to tell everyone who will listen, I'm just sooo pleased.

    Wasn't it inconsiderate of our parents having us at this time of year!
    I have never really felt that I've had a proper Birthday as everyone else is so wrapped up with Christmas. Were your presents always wrapped up in Christmas paper? Mine were.

    Just to follow siut though my 5th child was due on Christmas day but waited till the 28th to arrive 16 yrs ago. I always make sure that his are wrapped in Birthday paper so that it seperates the celebrations.

    This time I have the best one ever. A pink driving licence!!!
    I've had that green one for too long.

    Well done, I passed my theory the day before Xmas eve a few years ago and was smiling all the way into the new year so you must be grinning like a cheshire cat!
