it's the item not the seller, some things aren't covered by Paypal protection.0 -
The only time I am wary of buying off people is when they have 0 feedback; I know everyone has to start somewhere but I have been duped a few times. On the other hand though, I've also had the same problem with people that have hundreds of feedback so you can't be too sure whoever you buy from.

you dont instantly get feedback when you join, give the man/woman a chance, like people have said pay by paypal and you will be fine.0 -

You check the list. Ebay make no attempt to warn buyers they are about to be ripped off with no protection - as they are happy to make money from it.
Most buyers only find out the list exists, AFTER they have been ripped off - and ebay /paypal say "nothing to do with us guv".
