Would you buy off a new ebayer with only 7 feedback?

This ebayer is less than 30 days old but has a 100% feedback score of 7 and i am looking to buy an item that us £120.

If this were something cheaper than i would go for it but now im not sure.

I have checked the feedback and the items that have been sold are around £10 each.

I personally would, if they had 0 feedback I may think twice but seeing as they have 7 (positive) I presume I don't see a problem at all. If you also pay via paypal you are covered anyway so if you were to pay and not receive you could just file a claim and get your money back that way. Like op say's everyone has to start somewhere and from experience some seller's with 600+ feedback's can't be trusted!

You probably need to give them a chance but it a fair bit of money - if a few pounds i would making saying go for it a lot easier!

I would buy, because buyers have all the protection from eBay, so if something goes wrong then you will get your money back.

To be honest i feel as though its a genuine seller, just by looking at the sort of items they sold and the previous buyers who left them feedback had decent feedback themselves.

So unless they decide they can maybe try a scam and then create a new ebay user in future to replace it, then i doubt it would be dodgy.

The delivery is special next day so i wont be waiting long anyway.

    I would have said yes.

Having said that, the last item I bought from a new seller setting up a shop never arrived, no response to emails, and I won the paypal dispute by the fact they didn't respond.
The seller continued to be hit and miss, maybe sending out 75% of items, until ebay banned him.
There was no pattern to him though, maybe he just put names in a hat each morning to see what items he sent that day.

As long as it was not an item on ebays no protection list - your fine.
