Pesky mole!

Creosote down the hole worked for me, don't know where they went but went they did.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Evidently, as they are very sensitive to vibration, putting the gizmos from those electronic musical greetings cards into their tunnel is supposed to be a very effective deterrent. Mind you, it could be argued that a non-humane trap is actually kinder. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

I don't know of anything that can help you but being old enough to remember Jasper Carrott springs to mind - he didn't have much success getting rid of moles.0

We had problems a few years back.

A solar deterrant worked well for us. They obviously hated it.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -

Cheers wasn't aware of that option - looks good.
Our mole/s just disappeared after a couple of years so don't worry too much either way0 -

I heard about them hating vibration so bought a load of little windmills on sticks stuck them in the garden and sure enough within a few days the moles had moved on.
I got my windmills fro the kids toys area of either tesco or asda last year only cost abt £1 for 2, I bought 6 and moved them round each day.0 -

When I was a kid I waited motionless in silence and saw a mole dig its way up to the surface, snuffle around a bit then go back down below - rather cute.
They are definitely harder to kill than Rattus rattus or Mus musculus0 -
Be happy. I'd be thrilled to have a mole in my garden, they're just so ace!! :T0
