Beat me to it. Linux is pc but is not 100% compatible with the majority of PC software, as are the newer macs.

Haha, I love it. I'm not trying to offend people, but why anyone would want to pay money for a game, then continually pay to keep playing that game is way beyond me.

I know you [STRIKE]geeks[/STRIKE] guys enjoy it and thats fine, but I personally dont see it. I might change my mind if i got into it, but paying £100+ a year to play a game, definitely not my idea of money well spent.

The Servers we connect to have huge running costs, us "geeks" know that and are happy to keep the game going by paying a small monthly fee. It's 899 pennies; not that much.

You can pay over £80 for a couple of xbox games which might only take a few weeks to complete. To say that warcraft is huge would be an understatement and it is added to with patches and expansions. You can play different races of characters which start in different areas of the world and therefore have different quests and dungeons as well as games within the game such as player versus player arenas, battlegrounds and competitions. At holidays such as now there are special holiday quests/costumes/novelites and events . People can play and interact with other players just when they need to or they can join a guild, make friends and help each other out.

My bf pays for my account but if I ever start to think World of Warcraft costs alot I just put it in perspective when compared to the extortionate cost of the TV (tax) licence that I hardly watch anyway because of the abysmal programs we receive. Or that the £8.99 would barely buy me a pint per week for a month from my local.
