Forget World of Warcraft

Forget paying £15 a month to play World of Warcraft, or £30 to buy Guild Wars.

There's a new kid on the block called Last Chaos, available at www.lastchaos-usa.com. The game is free to download and they don't charge any subscription fees.

At the moment it's in Open Beta testing, though on checking they're FAQs they don't plan on ever charging! :D They plan to make their money by charging for items bought in an inworld shop, though these items aren't necessary to play the game.

As I said it's still in Beta testing but worth a play anyway.

Good luck and maybe see you "in world".

  • It's nothing compared to Guild Wars or WoW.

I paid £9.99 for my Guild Wars, and have played it constantly for about 4 months now. So, best £9.99 I ever spent :).
  • this looks like quite a good game, i'll have to give it a go at some point

It's not £15 per month to play World of Warcraft, it's £8.99 and cheaper still when you pay for a longer period of gameplay, £25.17 for three months and £46.14 for six months.

I've tried a few online games ranging from the painfully abysmal Runescape to games like Starwars, RF Online, Lineage II, Guildwars and World of Warcraft. I always go back to WOW as I haven't found any other MMORPG whose gameplay compares as yet.
