Hi I work at a costco and we were selling the very very large bags of flour, I'm not in work till tomorrow to check for you tho if nobody else comes along0
-
Do you have to have a special card or something to use a Costco?0
-
Yes you would need to become a member either through working for an eligible organisation or company or being in a profession such as teacher, social worker or for trade self employed. Unless of course you know someone who had a card and could add you.
It is always worth popping in and asking for more information and a preview card that will allow you to look around the warehouse but not make purchases.0 -

If it is a wholesalers then I can understand a company which needs to bulk buy being able to shop there, but why teachers and social workers?0 -

Costco isn't a wholesalers of cash and carry as such, it's a "shopping club".Piglet

For people to pay to use a private club they have to set criteria otherwise it would be just another 'shop'.0

I still don't see why they need to shop at wholesale prices just because they've got a degree!

No you don't need a degree it's just one of the ways you can join if your not a business owner or working for local government/council.0
