Yep, your credit history is checked. But on the income side, only discrepancies with what you said before are picked up by NH, else nothing is checked by most CCs. Sometimes they used to phone employers just to confirm you work there - but I think they don't even do that anymore. Ditto whether you are a home owner/renting/with parents etc. That's just taken on trust. If you claim you are a home owner they don't check the Land Registry.0 -
Well just for an uopdate. I had a letter from CapQuest this morning - my Cap1 debt has been passed to them.
They wanted the full balance paying this morning of just over £300. I declinded and said they can have the £5 I was in the process of offering Cap1. They declined and said the lowest they can do is £26 a month for 12 months.
I declined and offered my £5 again.
To which they accepted.
The annoying thing is, the limit on the CC was £200 and when I entered the payment plan with the CAB the interest was meant to be frozen...0
