Just been on money supermarket and they recommend as the cheapest Representative example: If you borrow £2,000 over 2 years at a Representative APR of 12.2% variable, a £120 arrangement fee and 1.00% credit rate fee and an annual interest rate of 4.7% you would pay:
RateSetter.gifRateSetter Lenders 12.2% £93.74£250£2,250 is that any good should I take that one?

What does a 1% credit rate fee mean is that more money to pay? I HAVE TO PAY £120 for admin is it then £2,250 P ay back in total or £2,250 plus £120 plus whatever the 1% admin fee thing means?

Representative example: If you borrow £2,000 over 2 years at a Representative APR of 18.9% fixed and an annual interest rate of 18.9% you would pay:
    A&Lprovider.gifSantander UK plc 18.9% £99.30£383£2,383

Alliance and santander are both the same and do not seem to charge me admin and 1% is that better but then the APR is much higher?

I know a bit about camper vans having had a long experience of them. I would be very wary of buying one at only 2 grand, especially off e-bay. Don't forget that the photographs will flatter and the reality may well disappoint; at least see it and try it first, and have it looked over by someone who knows about these things. I hope you have some money saved up for repairs and maintenance.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

I was thinking 2 grand for a camper sounded very cheap. What is it? A transit with an old mattress in the back? :)

    Sounds like madness to me.

Save up then buy one! There always about and much better saving the money up than taking on a loan for something that is not a neccessity!
