1st time poster and after recently ordering some Pepsi online after seeing this offer and receiving my credit card statement this morning Im not best pleased.
Took advantage of the £1 for six cans offer and yet today my statements arrives in the post and hey presto I have been charged £2 a pack. I have spoken to Customer services who have in turn put me through to the store that delivered the cans and they say due to a website pricing error the cans should have been £2 a pack and not £1 a pack.
As a goodwill gesture they will reimburse me the difference but I have to say I dont agree it should be as a goodwill gesture! To me they clearly stole from me, I have a receipt for the cans at £1 a pack and yet my credit card has been charged £2 a pack, that to me is theft.
I have read the previous post ref terms and conditions but on the day I [placed my order that was the price advertised, if the day after they change the price why should I be then charged the new price? it was on offer thats why I bought it, if it was £2 a pack I wouldn't have bothered.
They didn't have the decency to let me know beforehand, Its only once seeing my credit card statement I have noticed I have been robbed!
I will be looking to take this matter further because how many people would have missed this? its discusting that a major retailer can do this in my opinion. Its the last time I buy online form them anyway if they can charge what they like after I have made a purchase.
Sorry for the long winded reply anyway.0
