    I would love to know, so thanks for taking the time to chase this.

    If it's a case of people (like myself) being greedy, surely having a limit per customer would be much better than pulling it completely.
  • hi

    i placed an order online last night and they are showing in my order as £1 each, however i have rung customer services and he says i will be charged £2 and there is nothing i can do and nobody else has complained or mentioned this issue as he would of heard about it!! i have told him in future i will take a screen shot of offers and will be returning cans at £2 when my order is delivered, however i have emailed sainsburys about this as i feel its unfair and they should honour the price on your order !!

    i ordered 5 packs last night to be delivered this morning and got charged 2 pound per pack contacted sainsburys via email stating the offer and how i was not informed of the sudden change in offer which was to end on 28th but was just charged extra copied my order confirmation and pasted in the email. Got a refund of the difference so i am glad at least it was honoured eventually

    By placing an order you agree to the terms & conditions;

    2.1 The prices shown on this Website at the time of ordering are guide prices. They are the in-store selling prices that day at the store at which your goods will be selected. The prices you will be charged for goods will be the actual prices displayed in that store on the day of delivery, including any promotional offers if applicable. You accept that prices of goods may, therefore, increase or decrease between the day of ordering and the day of delivery.

    that true, but the fact they stoppedthe offer earlier than they said they would maybe give room for argument.

    Also, if people have set up a delivery of just the cans, then you've got the hassle of returning the cans, and still paying the delivery charge. I was planning on going to Sainsbury's at the weekend, with a £12 off £60 shop, but hopefully I can get it at Tesco instead, and use the competitor coupon to part pay.

    Plenty of cans in my store, though they didn't make a big thing about the offer. They seemed more interested in selling the Coke at 2 for 1.

    Picked up 70 packs without any problem.
    Hardly a surprise they've put the price up when you consider I doubt your the only who did this. Shame, as it's stopped other people taking advantage of a great offer who would have bought a more conservative amount.
  • I have to agree that it is the downright greedy that spoil these offers for everyone else. 70 packs now honestly - how greedy is that. Glad I checked the site, as I was going to drive 5 miles to my sainsburys tomorrow and now I won't bother.
    Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016
