Anyhow, wouldn't it be hilarious if the PPCs starting pushing the DVLA for their money back because the RK never supplied the money they demanded!!?? :rotfl:0

the 'people who consult' should take time out to study the stickies and realise that the 'end of the film'* is - in nearly all cases -the same.
what are the chances of ending up in county court? 1 in 10,000? 1 in a million? ( I'll let someone else do the maths). and even if things get that far, a well- organised defence ends in failure for the bell-ends who run this money-scamming 'industry'.
* doesn't matter how often I watch 'the french connection' I still wish popeye doyle actually nails the drug-dealer.
agree though with the bit about the PPC's bullying; the OP should get reassured -as I said -by the stickies.0 -
Absolutely, I agree with you 100%. The only thing is that people who consult these forums for the first time have had recent experiences which make them feel frightened and uneasy; in this case, to ignore seems a bit harrowing when nasty letters land on the doormat. When they are slightly active, it gives them encouragement and stops them worrying. YOU will ignore and so will I... but that's down to experience and having seen the end of the film!
"...so after months and months of scary letters, some purporting to be from the firm's 'legal department', and even from debt collectors, and then solicitors, not ordinary third parties but dead genuine because their literature was beautifully embellished with black and white Battenberg squares around the border...still the RK never replied, and in the end... the villains shrugged their shoulders and conceded that although their £60 demand had increased to £600, they ended up getting nothing, not even a reply...they buried their shameful heads as they rode away, kicking themselves that the months of expectation had cost THEM time and money - THE END"
Credits roll!

a story of redemption and natural justice. unmissable.0 -
Oooops I didn't realise I had more replies:).
I don't actually know who owns the car park.
Anyway, we got a letter back about the "appeal" today and, as everyone predicted, the charge still stands. Time to start ignoring letters from them.0 -

Wow what a surprise...not! :rotfl:
Glad to see you have read up on it and know it's OK to ignore the scam.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We have carefully studied your appeal in detail (opened the envelope and not seeing it containing money passed to monkey), asking a panel of experts (Pat & Paul on the "debt collector" & "lawyer" desks) and have decided to reject your appeal (and asked the monkey to press his pretty red button).0
