Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Tru
Happy Birthday Nelski
And anyone else who's celebrating today - have fun!
Morning All - hope we are well
Woke up to lovely sunshine this morning, it was raining at 02.10am when I came home. Was only suppose to be going for the Indian Meal, but ended up having a "lock in" at the local. Had a brill night, meal was lovely and my head's hurting now - so please - NO SHOUTING oops!
OH didn't drink last night - he palyed taxi, we took my manager and her OH home, and she said in the car, that she's happy for me to continue doing the hours I am doing at present, and not to worry about arranging after school child care. I was so relieved - you would not believe. Cos when I first started my new job and the hr's I am doing at the mo, it was only temp til I could sort out child care, as they wanted me to work the afternoon/evening shift. Happy Christmas to me!
Just ironed kids clothes for the wk end, as they are going to their dads today, till Sun.
We was going to look at a car today for OH, but he's decided against it now and wait til he's got more money to buy a slightly newer one, than the one he's got. He'll be spending the morning cleaning his old one up ready to sell on ebay for spares/repairs.
Plans for today, bit of shopping - might try Lidl again - been a while since I went in there.
Washing & general tidy up, and nursing this self inflicted headache.
Only a few presents to wrap for the family, will get that done later, then they're ready if they "pop" in - unexpected.
Have a good day all - Take care & Love as usual xxx
P.S Indian Meal for 11 people incl drinks and some starters. Came to £109.80, friends husband paid the lot!!! I was gob-smacked. So thats why we went back to their local with them to buy them a "thankyou drink" - cheap night in the end. !Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Morning everyone.
Happy :bdaycake: Birthday Nels
And happy aniversary to Mr and Mrs Tru :snow_grin
Had to switch days and will be working tomorrow instead of today, but only discovered this after the alarm went of this morning  Next scheduled lie-in is Christmas day
So today is shopping, cleaning, washing, ironing and resisting the temptation to climb back under the duvet. Hmmmm, don't much fancy my chances on the resistance fromt.
Right, off to the sorting office before it closes.
Have a lovely day and hugs to all who would like one.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
Proud to be a chic shopper

& well done to stefejb - its a very good thing you are doing.
Well lots and lots to do here today as yesterday fell off a horse & altho didnt do any major damage did nothing at all once I was home. OH looked after me and we had chinese for dinner which wasnt budgeted for but much appreciated. So today have the work of yesterday as well.
Once have posted here gonna go on the Tescos website & complete my order for the 22nd (will be buying fresh vegs etc from asda on the 23rd)
Will then load the wm again, clean kitchen then start ironing mountain. Hopefully will get that done earlier than I anticipate as will then do some paperwork and write a list for the final stuff I need to get present wise on monday. Hopefully over this weekend will get some time to do all the cards that need posting and the neighbours ones too. Need to work out pay dates for our drivers and ensure all essential paperwork is up staight before kids break up.
Think will also have some toast in a minute. Not sure whats for dinner tonight as we have got our Xmas do and have a minibus picking us up at 6.30 so need some quick and easy. Not really looking forward to the do as ache from the ears down and need to be up early tomorrow but hopefully will enjoy more than I think iykwim.
Off now see you later.0 -
Morning All
Havent been around for afew days as unfortunately I started to Misscarry on Sunday evening. I had to go and have a D&C yesterday. As you can imagine we are devestated but have to look on the positive side that we already have one DD and it now looks like our fertility problems have at least part resolved themselves.
I'm going to rest today and then I need to get on with Christmas preparations as I'm now a week behind. I need to get cards posted today as its the last posting day for 2nd class I might get DH to do that later when he goes to pick up the tree.
Sorry to bring a downer post to the board. ((Hugs)) to Taplady and have a fab birthday Nelski

Congrats to Mr and Mrs Tru too :j
Very little OS today. Am just about to jump in the shower before taking the boys round to their friends so I can go to the hairdressers in peace. I'm going for a complete restyle so have no idea what i'll come out withI've been growing my layers out for 3 years, just so they can be put back in (properly) :rotfl: You never know - I may have it cut short
I shall be departing for Chez Nelski this afternoon - complete with white glove to do the Anthea challenge. (Am also taking a bottle of baileys, so she may be right.... I may not remember anything LOL) I shall be spending the night there, so no driving for me
Just about to put TD on - I need my jeans for today. Gotta rush, need to get out of the door and the PJ and DG look won't cut it in the salon
Laters everyone and ((hugs)) all round
