Well, hope you have a wonderful day and look forward to reading all about it here! By the way (I saw your other thread), let me know what the registrars in Chester are like, we'll be using them as well! :D

It matches the band of my 'non-engagement' ring.
Not sure yet whether MrD is having a ring yet or not.

My wedding ring is identical to the one on the left.
this is mine- i love it! 5135230?$detail$

That's my eternity ring, but mine is yellow gold.

I'm too pale to wear silver coloured metals, wish I wasn't though!

OH suggested platinum but it's v expensive!!

Worth looking at other things...I saved about 75% by going for palladium rather than platinum..and there's so little difference it's not funny...

    Anyway, I've gone for a 5mm flat-court palladium band...
The Mrs is having a tiny (1mm?) round platinum band...It's really small, but looks lovely next to her engagement ring...
  • My mum had alsorts of broken gold, watch backs, old bracelets etc and I had my grandmas wedding ring. (my engagement ring was also hers - she was my fave person in the whole wide world!)

Anyway we went to Gavin Mack http://www.gavinmackjewelleryltd.co.uk/ and he made us some beautiful rings. We chose plain bands, court shaped and we had enough extra gold to sell to Gavin to pay for the work so didnt cost us anything.

Getting them made meant that my grandmas ring could be split and half go into my ring, and half go into my OHs, although he never met her, he knows how important she is and this means alot to me.

I would suggest looking around local bespoke jewellers as with the size and weight of our rings we could never have afforded from the high street and as it is we have ended up with some stunning rings that have alot of meaning
  • sammy wheeler i am getting the same ring or very simular ring i first saw it in a independant shop for just £69 and was gutted i was on my own as felt H2B should have been there so i let it pass me by. i went the week after with H2B and the shops sale had stopped so failed that time to we went down to HSamuells i think it was and they had a collection of this design ranging from £169 ish to £300 i think. we are going to go and comite to the ring this weekend as i really do love the design glad your as happy with yours now you have it xxx

shellsuit yes i found this ring under etirnaty rings online and since finding it i have decided that a plain band was not what i wanted my engagement ring has a small stone and felt i could get away with this and engagement ring. Did your OH pick the ring for you or did you chose it either way great taste x

We both chose my eternity ring and we each chose our own wedding rings.

To be honest, if I didn't already have that ring as my eternity ring, it's what I would have chosen for my wedding ring! :D
