That sounds like fun - I like the idea of growing my own veg but honestly wouldn't know where to start!

I got the money through from my last Ebay weekend - all £5 of it, and have sent that to my mortgage overpayment pot. I also got an email about free listing this weekend, so will spend some time tomorrow hunting out [strike]tat[/strike] quality merchandise to sell. I probably have some clothes I could sell, but don't know if I would make anything from them. Worth a try I suppose.

Plans for today are to go to the pictures this afternoon and then WW tonight. I also need to run to the Post Office and post the masses of Father's Day chocolates that I bought yesterday. First though - breakfast!

    Evening folks :D

Well we did make it to the pictures and went to see Senna. If you have the opportunity to see this then please do. I have no interest in motor racing but by the end of the documentary I was in tears, it was so sad and so beautifully done.

It was a nice MSE trip as well as I have an annual cinema pass and I had a voucher for Mr Fresian, so it cost us nothing :D

We went for lunch first which sadly didn't cost nothing, but this was being paid for from our holiday money (we were meant to be on our holiday this week but had to cancel) My other spends today were on a birthday present for an MSE friend, parking (!!!!!!! three pounds, gah....), postage for Father's Day items and some food from Tesco. Not a cheap day all in all.

MFW news? Well I've listed some books for sale on Amazon and if they sell they will net me over £40. I've got a bag full of stuff ready for Ebay at the weekend and have put 99p into my change pots which will get paid into the mortgage when I have full bags of change.

My other good news is that I had my second weigh-in since starting Weight Watchers and have lost another 4.5lbs which is a total of 7.5lbs in two weeks :j I am noticing that I'm spending a lot more at the shops, so I need to just be aware of this and try and rein in the spending a little once I get myself used to the plan.

    Happy Hump Day all :D

    While I remember...

I have been using my WW pedometer for a week now, and have done:

50046 steps which is 21.45 miles. This has earned me 14 activity points :D

A lot of this would be my normal wandering about, but it's made me realise how static my lifestyle often is and I've been trying to do extra walking when I can fit it in. So for example if my bus isn't due for ten minutes I'm walking a few more bus stops further down the road to try and get steps in that way.

It's working well so far ;)

Hmmm...I've been a Spendy Fresian this morning and I'm still in my pyjamas :D

I got an email about a 50% off sale at JJB and am in dire need of new trainers. Mine are fine for gentle wandering, but I'm doing a lot more walking now and need something a lot sturdier. I've hankered after a pair of Easytone's for a while, as a few friends have them and really rate them, but I can't afford to pay £70 for them () I now have a pair winging it's way to me for half price, as well as some jogging bottoms and a hoodie all for £49. That's including the 10% off code I found online. If my Quidco tracks too then that'll be another £3.90ish, but I know it might not due to using a discount code. Better to have money off guaranteed rather than only the possibility of cashback ;)

I have paid £1.15 into my overpayments account though, so it's not all bad news :o

After my spending this morning, I shaped up a bit :D I went and got my hair cut this afternoon (already paid for through KGB deals and with Quidco) and picked up a couple of bits and pieces in Poundland on my way there.

I also went out for dinner with a friend tonight. It was another KGB deal and was pretty tasty. Not the best meal I've ever had but not bad. I ended up paying £10 as we both had extra sides and paid a supplement for having steak (yum!) I've blasted my WW points tonight but had a really nice time. I've done 3 points worth of exercise today anyway so I'll keep that up for the rest of the week and hopefully stay on track. That being said, I'm off out for dinner with Mr Fresian tomorrow, so it might be another point-heavy dinner then too ;)
