Other cars cute and cheap for fuel/tax
    Renault Clio and Twingo
    Fiat 500
    Citreon C2 and C3
    Ford Ka

And Top Gear mentioned a new Nissan Pixo that is the cheapest new car available in the UK. They didn't rate it much but they are used to driving lots of flash cars! But it didn't look cute to me

My Clio does 50+, my sisters Fiat 500 is nearer 70 to the gallon - both diesel.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but what a cute car :D. It's smiling :). If I had one I'd reverse it into my parking space at work so it could smile at everyone all day and cheer me up when I walked towards it on my way home :T

Thanks Maty - delurk more often :D

I would love a Fiat 500. Love love love. Sadly, I know I can't really afford one, so I'm keeping my options open. It would be too easy to say "I'll just get a £10,000 loan" and then I'd be right back where I was a few years ago, even if it's good debt. I'm going to sort my SOA this morning and figure out what's affordable (will likely post it on here too for advice!) and think I'm going to take £1000 from my ISA and £500 from the Handbag Fund (BAH!!!!!) then top up the amount I need with a loan. That will be at staff rate of 6.4% and we're able to make additional payments into it, so I'll be PADding again :rotfl::rotfl:

Fiat 500's don't smile but have a cute little chrome moustache that makes ME smile :). And they come in yellow.

Stamps foot. I want a yellow car :(

    ETA - I want a Citroen DS3 in yellow :(

I know what you mean about cars having a face as well. I refuse to get a Ka because I don't like their faces :o
