Good luck with ebay. I always mean to go to our local Toby Carvery but not got around to it yet!

Thanks Cath - Ebay is going ok. Current bids are still at £15, but I had someone message me asking for a BIN price for some crafty stamps I was selling. I sent her a message with the price and she agreed to buy both stamp sets :j That's £9.98 minus fees which is fab (as I bought them for a little less....ssshhh!!) and the postage shouldn't be too much as they're flat and easy to send. Hurrah!

Are you pleased it is payday?? :D

Thrilled!! It doesn't make a lot of difference to me to be honest, as I'm always working to the same budget every month, but I like the feeling of seeing the accounts topped up again, if only for a little while!

Thats a fab emergency fund and hope the handbag fund is looking healthy too ;)
The handbag fund is going well. I am part of the Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge which means that you round down your bank account every Friday to the nearest tenner. That's my handbag fund. Tomorrow I'll be rounding down with about £9 I think, so that's a nice wee PAD.

Today I've managed to get screened out of three surveys on OP and earn a whopping 5p :rotfl: I've earned about another 40SB, so I'm nearly at that elusive Amazon voucher. I also got an email from a long-forgotten survey group who were sending me a £2 Amazon voucher for my efforts so far :D I was very pleased with that one!

My other MSE victory was getting to Tesco just as the wee man reduced the meat, so I came home with four packs of extra lean mince (£1.32 each) and a pack of Willow Farm chicken breasts (£1.62) so we're going to be eating mincey things for a while I think!

Now for the MSE confession...I spent £44 in Dorothy Perkins today. I've not tried on the clothes yet, so they all might go back yet. I'm hoping that at least one of the tops fit though - they're very pretty! If I keep it all, I'll use all the Ebay money to pay for them and if there's a shortfall that will come from my monthly Reward payments. See, I'm being good. Honest.

Off to bed for an early night now. Work was busy and I've done loads of walking today (over five miles) so I'm sleepy now! Friday tomorrow, wooooooooo!!! :j

    Morning all :D

£9.25 has been sent to the Handbag Fund today taking it over £480 :D My mortgage payment has come out of my account today as well and I'm hoping that this will apply to the mortgage online by Monday so I can see how that's looking.

I won 11SB by searching this morning - the dailies don't seem to be coming online until 8am so I'll do them before work. I'm only 52SB away from my voucher and would love to get that ordered today!

Tonight I'm finishing work a little early then heading into town to pick up my new trainers :j I really hope they fit because I'm very excited about them. I'm then meeting a friend for a quick drink before she moves to America this weekend  I think my next big savings challenge will be for flights out there ;)

My Ebay item is now parcelled up and ready to send. I had Ebay fees due from the last free weekend, so have paid them with this money, so by the time I post it I will only have made about £3 :rotfl: Still, every little helps and all that!

Better go - got washing to hang out and need to put my chilli in the slow cooker for tonight. Happy Fridays to all

Need to start again now :rotfl:

FF have you ever redeemed for paypal cash on SB? Been looking at the options and thinking about it instead of amazon vouchers but not sure if it'll be worth it if they take fees from it.

Never - mainly because it's $5 instead of pounds. I don't know if they take fees....is there a FAQ you could check?

Not that I can see, might have to try it and find out as I don't mind getting the money in $ as it's easy enough to convert, not the best rates though, and I get some other things paid in $ in to paypal so it mounts up quite quickly to convert a fairly large amount at once.

You are doing well, Fresian, and putting me to shame!

I've got some well-paid overtime this afternoon, however, so I hope to do some damage with that. :D

Take care and have a splendid weekend!
