Valliant Ecotec 831 Plus

Hi
I've just had a Valliant Ecotec 831 Plus boiler installed last week and the noise lelvel is very high.. Everytime we put the hot water on, the boilder sounds as if its going to take off and sounds like an aeroplane... Any reason for this please ? Thanks.

Other than dirt in the main heat exchanger, I could not guess.
These are a very quiet boiler usually.
Get your installer back to check it out.0 -
Get your installer to check it with his flue analyser, I have installed boilers where the ratios are out a mile and give this sort of sound your describing.
It be the first thing i would check but he should of done this when he commissioned the boiler.0 -
I had a similar problem once, it was the heating pump causing cavitation in the pipes. Basically too big for the system.0

we have just had a vaillant ecotec plus 831 fitted.
It is as quiet as a mouse?????
Definantly something not right with yours, get it checked over
