weird o2 thing - id fraud?

o2 try and deliver an exchange phone to my mums house where I havent lived for 6 years in my name. Mum phones me, then refuses delivery.

i ring o2 who have no knowledge of an account at that address, or an order, i say it sounds like a id fraud thing, they refuse to help as there isnt an order to that address despite the fact they've tried to send a phone. the only thing they have at that address is an o2 payg sim from 2003. They refuse to put me through to fraud, or complaints, and the supervisor refuses to speak to me.

So if it's id fraud, why is there no record of an order? could it just be o2 being mental?

well in my experience o2 online don't know their !!!! from there elbow. it's always worth ringing back to speak to someone else and get them to put you through to the fraud department
