  • I am going to pick mine up tomorrow - minus a green one which it says to ask for a refund on.

    I can't see why they can't just give you a green one from the store rather than the refund, has anyone asked that?

    I know its not the same but I had two seperate orders for Happyland BOGOF stuff where only one set for each turned up. When I asked if I could have the ones they didnt send off the shelf instore the manager got me to phone up and ask customer services who supposedly cancelled the other half of my orders and let me walk out the store with my full order. However, both the other sets, a Rose Cottage and the Vets have been sent to me anyway.... ultimate bargain!! :D

    i went into mothercare yesterday to collect my orders and what a nightmare!

    everyone in there was lovely but didnt have a clue what to do about the items that needed to be refunded due to being cancelled.

    i was in there for 1 hour!!!! and had a very teasy boyf and child when i got back to the car where they were waiting for me.

    basically they couldn't refund them as they didnt have a clue how to do it as i was not returning anything but purely needing a refund due to no stock. the codes they were trying to input on the comp for the items wouldnt work as they are elc items and so were not recognised becuase codes for mothercare and elc are different.

    in the end the manager came down from her lunch and decided to call up head office who said that actually they will be the ones to refund me but it might take a few days to go through the system. thats fine but why tell me to go in store and get a refund if thats the case?! I wasted a whole hour where instead i could have gone in collected my stuff and gone straight away.

    Think I will be writing a complaint to Mothercare.

  • picked mine up today along with my happyland items, i got 7/8 of the paints (no green) i couldnt be bothered to say anything as i had probs with my happyland order (sent me wrong item) took ages to get sorted, not sure if they will send the green one another time?
  • Picked up all of mine today, didn't get the order in in time to get the paints, but got loads of stuff, 2 very happy DDs!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Collected my son's paints today!!! Hooray. On my 'ready to collect' email it said the green was out of stock and i should get a refund in store, but they had some in store so I asked if it would be easier to just take one from the shelf and they said I could :-)

    Still the remainder of another order to receive, I've had a dispatch email but not a ready to collect one (Goodness knows where it could have got to lol) so nearly there.....
