Can't seem to get this to work, I've tried logging out and back in again but even if I put 2 identical art and craft things that are in the promotion in my basket, go to checkout then all the way through to the final page and put the code in, it's not doing BOGOF.... Help!!!

All my paints have now been despatched too. On a previous order I ordered glue sticks and the mister maker pens for a total of 60p, when the order was despatched it said the mister maker pens were out of stock and that I should get a refund instore, so when I went to collect my order I got refunded the 30p for them. However today I've got another email to say they have been despatched... =/

plus the store didn't even know how to do the refund and couldn't contact customer service (or couldn't be bothered to phone) and the staff were looking at the invoice and said I was only charged 30p anyway and I pointed out how it states 60p was charged, but only 30p was used for payment on the glue sticks. I had to go to my bank and print out a mini-statement to show I was charged 60p, before they gave me a refund.

Mothercare should just send refunds back to your card for out of stock items and save the hassle of you having to go instore to get it!

I had 1 whole order that was cancelled it was for £3.80 I got that refunded in store, the other stuff was odd items on orders I had received stuff and the store couldn't fathom what to refund due to the bogof so I left it intending to ring cs and get them to refund it but never got round to it. So to answer the question yes some of it (£3.80's worth)

Same here, just one item I have had a refund for - 90p. I guess it goes some way towards making up for the time taken emailing them about my in limbo orders. I can't fault their customer service either. Thanks Mothercare! :)

I think they have great customer service too, what happened was they sent me an extra £10 gift voucher for an item i brought under price promise, I phoned them up to query about not recieving voucher, they then said they will send it out. Half hour later neighbour came & gave it to me saying i missed postman and he passed it to her. I phoned them hastily explaing everything and he said they will cancel it. Today i recieved another one and phoned them to tell them , once again i explained everything , the woman told me to hold while she speaks to someone about this.
She came back on phone and was very thankful to me for notifying them and told me they were unable to cancel it as it was on its way to me and to keep the voucher as a compliment for being honest.:j:j:j:j

I ordered the mister maker box last time and also 8 of the paints - my total order should have been £10.40 iirc.

The paints were all OOS by the time I went to collect my box and they refunded the full £8.00 for the paints as that is the price stated on the original order confirmation that they refer to - the discounts show at the bottom but they can't recalculate that manually so I go the box for £2.40 - original price was £20.00!!

Ok, so now what do I do? Have had a full refund for all the paints as per the email saying they were all OOS and to go and get a refund - but have just now had an email saying the paints have been despatched(all bar the green one) and they will let me know when they are ready to collect? It's costing me in petrol each time I have to go down there so do I just go and collec them, collect them and pay again, or leave them?
  • if they are there , just collect them and if they ask you could just say you didnt realise you had been refunded?

i got my dispatch email yesturday :) will collect them monday

If anyone is interested sone of the crafts bits are now in stock. In my opinion things like the glue sticks and A3 paper are great vakue for money. I also got some easy painter, glitter stixks, confetti pens and plastic scissors.

There is a code in the happyland thread whixh is working on this.
