    Afternoon all.

Ashamed to admit that zero flying done today :o as had DD2 at A&E this morning. She's hardly slept all weekend (and therefore neither have I) and today complained of a sore ear. I had a look at 0730 to see gunk coming out of her ear so phoned NHS24. The out of hours service phoned me back at 0800 to tell me to take her to the out of hours doc at A&E so we were there by 0815. No-one was there apart from staff and we had to wait till 0850 to be seen:mad:. And then the doc was just a rude so and so. But we got drops for her ears and she is sleeping at the mo. Boots are great pharmacists up here as when we went in for her ear drops, they promptly gave me a bottle of paracetamol and one of ibuprofen on the minor ailments. So saved me about £12-£15 there! Am knackered!!!

Perpetual ear infections, very stressful for parents and painful for kids.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Don't think I'll get the floors done... But after I've eaten I should get the DW emptied and the washing up done, the bins emptied, the kitchen s&s'd and the remains of my packing done (must remember my passport...).

Better go and get on with a bit more....

I have prepped my sc for tomorrow - all in the fridge ready to go. Tis filled giant yorkshires for tea...filled with yummy pork casserole. Each person can prepare their own on arrival home leaving the casserole in the Sc for the next hungry person. I think I am truly a genius!
