So is that why there are so many odd posts and threads about?_pale_

Meanwhile, I am clearing stuff from under the bed
so we can rearrange part of the bedroom
to find a home for the side units
    removed from the living room
    after last night's move round
which was a fait accompli by him indoors :wall:

2 items removed from the frog list. Took me about 2mins. Why did it take so long?

Need to do floors tonight. Grrrr. I hate hoovering and mopping. But there is some champagne in the fridge to celebrate my birthday so hopefully I will persuade myself that it should be a reward once I've done it.

    Just listing some shoes *sob*

I havent been able to bring myself to do it yet... I have thrown away anything manky...but am still gaining the strength to part with good stuff... Once I get started on my room, I will be on a mission and the stuff will need to just GO!! I cant have it hanging around or Ill start changing my mind, convincing myself I still want/need them... :o
hi, im planning on joining you- but im going to just read this week before starting next week-just so i know what to do and stuff- prepare myself. Im really needing the motivation- i had a baby 4 months ago and im not going back to work- so my role is homemaker and i really want to do it- but im so lazy im struggling, my house isnt a mess- well living room isnt- i manage to keep living room and kitchen tidy but not sure they are clean if you know what i mean- and with a baby i need to get my act together- i have done my own lists before but put them off so hopefully if i do it on here ill feel like i have to do them

Hey Claire, If it helps, use your own lists and post them up here. Not everyone uses Pigpens lists, some find it easier to use their own, so if that helps you, dont feel obliged to use this one.

While your lurking this week, take a note book and pen and go round each room and write a list of tasks that you want to get round to at some point. That way you will already have a TOOTS list to join in on Monday xx

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Level OneClear and wipe kitchen surfaces Done
Empty the cutlery drawer.. clean it out, wash the cutlery tray, chuck those baby spoons you don't use any more.. how many medicine spoons do you actually need? get rid of everything you don't use and make the drawer look nice again! Done – nothing to chuck out though, probably because we haven't acquired anything in there since last time we did this exercise!:D
Level TwoWipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary) Done (no cloth used)
Level ThreeDust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round Done
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc DoneClean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards.. Done
    Extras

    1. Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms Sill done; window left as I don't feel up to climbing on the step-stool (and it doesn't really need a clean anyway, tbh)
    2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk! Done
    3. Clean oven if it really needs it.. or just do the hob.. Micro/combi and hob done; main oven hasn't been used since last clean.;)
I've also nearly wet myself laughing at the "accidentally" thread. I dunno what the OP there is on, but I reckon I could do with some.... I might accidentally the housework then!:rotfl:
