Been to the docs to see the nurse. She has changed my pill prescription ('cos of my age :o) and forced me to eat a frog! (she made me book a smear test :o cos it was overdue) So I am back there on Thursday (oh Joy!) She didn't nag me about my weight, but I did tell her that i have lost 9lbs in 5 weeks :j

Washing on line. Bedding and sofa bed cover in WM (DD2 sat on the arm of the 'new' cream sofa bed and had an unfortunate AF accident :( hopefully it will wash out!)

After bathing the dog yesterday, he still smells! It appears to be coming from his ears, so we may have to take a trip to the vets :( It is making the whole house stink!!

DD1 is going to visit her friend who had her 2nd baby this morning! Mother & baby should be home by lunchtime. DD2 wants to look at her art work which is being displayed in the Leigh Art Trail this week (lots of mini art exhibitions held in local shops/venues), before I take her to school for her History GCSE.

Cat has been located and defleaed :D much to her disgust!

    Happy Birthday Cat
    Off I go again!!

    Hi all.
    Happy Birthday Cat:bdaycake:
I'm feeling rough today, so may not get anything much done other than seeing to Sidney's needs.I had a wee go at an easy task earlier, and felt so rotten I had to lie down on the sofa. :( Nothing to worry about though - it goes with the territory with lupus.

However, some of the list can be crossed off, so I'll post'n'delete, to see what I actually need to do.;)
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Empty the cutlery drawer.. clean it out, wash the cutlery tray, chuck those baby spoons you don't use any more.. how many medicine spoons do you actually need? get rid of everything you don't use and make the drawer look nice again!
    Level Two
Sweep and mop floors Done by Mr LW.... and done again several times since, and will probably be done again at least three times a day for the rest of this week because Sidney is the messiest eater imaginable!:rotfl:
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there! Done Saturday prior to F&V run
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round

Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc

Clean fridge and see what needs using first
Done Saturday prior to F&V run
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Drawer done; will get Mr LW to do filter tonight as I can't remove it myself due to my dodgy paws (TD is integral with WM, and we have no DW)
    Extras

    1. Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    3. Clean oven if it really needs it.. or just do the hob..
    4. HHI .. bit of a catch up!! N/A – none to do
Sid has had his "long" walk for today; he goes for that early on, and has three more, shorter walks throughout the day. He's also been persuaded to eat some food, and is now snozing on the mat by the patio door in the lounge (cue lots of nose-art!)

I think I'll grab a coffee and perhaps have a spot of lunch early; maybe I'll feel a bit better for Sid's 13:00 walkies.:o

I suspect the kitchen window won't get done though - I have to stand on the step-stool to do it, and I'm not sure that's a good idea while I feel like this.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Thanks for all the b-day wishes.

Kindle now loaded with a few books. (sticking to free ones at the moment) Going to make a huge weight difference for holiday in July as I devour books. (Can easily get through 2 a day) Only problem may be that 1 Kindle between 2 doesn't really work as DH is much slower.

Trying to decide whether to put bottle of champers in the fridge for tonight. Or be good on the weight loss. MMmmmmm.

Must actually get dressed and start flying.
