    Oh no!!

Depends what your budget would be. Lots of bridal shops have a discount/ sample rail on where you buy the dress as you see it and they just do the alterations to your size so it doesnt need ordering in. These dresses can be from £100. Your other option would be to look in department stores as they can be bought there and then no waiting for delivery and no shock supprises.

    Hope that helps, Good Luck!

At this point I think the budget is going out the window :( I just want a dress that fits and looks good. I really want the ambrosia or sabelle but I think Maggie have really long lead times.

can you go to a alteractions woman- google and see who is near you-- so she can put it on you properly so she can see if you can do anything--
don't forget shapewear underwear, contour wraps, and is it poss you can diet and lose some more weight??

I think i'd need to loose about another stone maybe a bit more for it to comfortably fit... with 9 weeks to go its quite a risk :(

If you are dedicated and don't cheat it can be done. I lost 2.5 stone in 6 weeks on a VLCD a few years ago BUT you need to have the weight to lose as if your frame isn't small enough for the dress it will never fit or you risk looking gaunt and ill.
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!

Don't panic and don't do any silly panic diets ;)
Most wedding dresses have seam allowance to be taken out by at least a size (sometimes two) I would ask / phone around for a decent seamstress who can take a look for you. Try and get personal recommendations if you can.
I don't think bridal shops will help although you may get a sympathetic one that would point you in the right direction.
As far as the Ebay listing being wrong I think you need to put it down to experience due to the time that has lapsed.

Hi I had a maggie soterro dress for my wedding 8 years ago I didn't wear the modesty panel in the back of mine but had a similar experience to you. I went to my dress fitting and it didn't fit, not sure how much buy. I was also in panic mode but decided I would drink lots of water from that day on, walked loads and carried a bottle of water everywhere really helped and dress fitted fine. Good luck her dresses really are beautiful going to google yours to have a look.
