Advertising Gig Ticket Sales on Quick Grabbit

I'm slightly concerned about the current trend of gig ticket sales being mentioned on quick grabbit. Every time there seems to be a concert likely to sell out someone posts it in there. Surely this is playing into the hands of touts, allowing them to find out when presales and the like are?

If someone is a true fan they will know about any presales/general release sales anyway so they wouldn't need to read it here.

I really do think that touts will find out about presales and buy up all the tickets meaning that real fans lose out. If touts realise there is a trend of these being advertised on here then it's more likely to have an effect as they'll come here for information.

I'm definitely not a tout, and I wouldn't have got tickets for the Scissor Sisters at Barrowland or The Killers at SECC if it wasn't for this site.

It's just a fact of life sadly. I've tried desperately refreshing an email page/phone on redial for tickets in the past and saw them on ebay minutes later, at vastly inflated prices. Drives me mad too.

hmm.. It's just that lately there seems to have been a huge rise in the number of ones posted.There was a time when presales were strictly hardcore fans only. It seems now there's basically 2 days where tickets are on general release.
