You either mean a download limit of 40Gigabytes, or are confusing this with the speed of the connection which could be 40megabits per second.
I imagine the price is on BTs website.

If the Xbox is being used on line a lot you would probably want an unlimited connection.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

To be honest, 40Gb should be plenty, that's an awful lot of data. Unless you plan to watch streaming videos all the time then you should have no problems.

Obviously a teenager with access to so much content might push the limits somewhat!

I have Infinity. I was unfortunate enough to be moving into a house without a BT socket. Sky wanted to charge £40 for installation, told me it would take 4-6 weeks for the installation of a phone line and broadband. They also told me it would cost £140 for BT to install a line and take as long for installation with 'anyone' else. Oh and they told me the bandwidth speed would be 7.4Gb

Well, BT installed the phone line and infinity for free, within a week and a half, I pay £28 a month (reduced by £8 for the first three months). I regularly get a download speed of more than 37Mb/s (takes me minutes to download a 4Gb DVD) and it has only dropped off once in over two months due to some works that were going on locally (I was forever losing my sky broadband connection). However, I do download a lot of stuff and its nice to get it fast when u want it. Not everyone needs that kind of speed. For me its well worth it.

No brainer as far as I am concerned. I love the high download speed (brilliant when I download using newservers). However, BT do seem able to cap filesharing downloads (bittorrent) between 16:00 and 23:00 on weekdays but I don't mind, as its so high at all other times of the day.

Just very very glad I didn't listen to Sky and phone BT to check what they offered.
