Hi there, considering buying an XBOX 360.Should I buy it now or wait till after Christmas??Do you think the price will come down in the post Christmas Sales,or is the delay of the PS3 liable to keep the price as it is??

if you dont need it for xmas i would wait, the chances are you will be able to pick it up cheaper, and if not the worst thats happened is that you have not had it for a few weeks0

Buy it now!! I'm getting one tomorrow. Even when the PS3 comes out the price will not alter too much because it is cheaper anyway0

There are some great bundle xbox premium/games deals around at the moment. Game, Gamestation and Virgin all have quite good offers instore from £299 which includes the Premium and extras/games. I thought Virgin was the best as they had a choice of game bundles and include an extra official xbox wireless controller and a couple of months' xbox live subscription.
And Argos have the Premium at £249.xx and I think a free game can be added too, check out their website.
And just a thought, I never wonder if it's worth buying electricals this close to Christmas. You just buy them from a store that has a no-quibble returns policy after xmas - preferably a store that tends to have good reductions from Boxing Day onwards.
You keep the receipt safe, like gold-dust. Then, after Boxing Day you set off and see if they have put the price down. If so you buy the same thing again (on a credit card is best so you are never out of pocket). Then you return unopened product B (check no sale stickers on it) with receipt A to another branch 'found it cheaper elsewhere' or whatever...:DPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yep, it feels a bit naughty but if you are returning the same unopened item to the store you really did buy it from, with a receipt, how can it be wrong? I have paid for a lot of xmas pressies this way for years.
You can also buy clothing for xmas parties, winter coats, etc and get the benefit of them in December....then make sure you then actually pay January sale prices for them!
The only places this does not work at might be shops like Next (where they mark their sale stock clearly/permanently) and shops like HMV (last time I tried to return something there that was not faulty - just changed my mind - they would only exchange, even though I had a receipt. So I don't shop there).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I thought I heard a while ago that they would not be dropping the price of the 360 for a while?
If you want one now, get one now I doubt there would be much of a saving after xmas.

Blockbuster have a package at the moment which includes an extra pad and 4 games (cannot remember which ones) plus 50 x £1 off rental vouchers for £3490

There must be a price drop at march when the ps3 comes out, so if you can hold on till then, then I'd wait. If not then Virgin are doing some very good xbox 360/psp deals.0
