Just to let anyone that is considering buying Geomag from 'The Geomag Store' website (thegeomagstore.com) that they may have a problem with delivery. I ordered goods on 18 November, the money was taken off my credit card immediately and I have received nothing. No replies to emails from the proprietor. Caveat emptor!

Hi
I run TheGemagstore along with my husband, and personally deal with every query received. If there is a problem then we always go to great pains to resolve it. Although this was a long time ago I would be insterested to know if this customer ever received the item. Unfortunately items do go astray when we attempt to deliver them, however we are always a phone call away.0 -
Might it be better if the phone number was listed under the "contact us" section on your site?0

Pity you waited 18 months to respond to this thread."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

No replies to our emails, no goods received & no refund. And from memory, we could not find a phone number listed on your site.
We eventually gave up and bought our children's Christmas presents from elsewhere.0 -
And from 1st Jan 2007, business websites are meant to have their postal and phone contact details published on them in an easily found location, aren't they?0

Yes,and on their own site THEY say their postal address is on the contact us section..I don't think they have a clue what they are doing.0 -

This is true.

I can't help but feel that the owner of this site has shot themself in the foot big time here.
They pulled up an old thread from 2006 that had buried itself way way down the board (99.9% of members wouldn't have come across it). Now because of this, I know that the OP didn't receive their goods, or any refund, or any contact from the company. I also know that the company is breaking the law by not having proper contact information on their website.
Looks like another company to put on my 'list of undesirables' that I wouldn't deal with. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I ordered 2 boxes of Geomag for my nephew's birthday on the evening of 4th June. I paid £5.95 for next-day courier delivery (according to their website: "We use Royal Mail 1st Class or 2nd Class post or other reputable couriers where appropriate for our deliveries. We also offer a next working day delivery option at a cost of £5.95 for UK addresses only. For next day deliveries, orders must be received before 12.00 midday on the previous working day. Next day delivery orders received on Friday before 12.00 midday may not be delivered until Monday as our couriers do not guarantee Saturday deliveries. A signature will be required on delivery of your order."
As of the next day, their website showed my order as 'pending'. It's still pending now - nearly 1pm on the 9th June. I've emailed their customer services address four times with no response. The money left my account the day after I placed it. I can't find a telephone number on their website. I think these people are thieves and I'm so annoyed about it I registered here to add to the complaints!0 -
I just looked a bit harder and found the phone number. Apparently they went on holiday and nobody was checking anything. I'm going to get a refund. I'll update this if it doesn't happen - i'm sure everybody's on tenterhooks!0
