waterproof mobile phone

Hello,
I need a waterproof mobile phone as I just cant stand the hassle of orange replacing mine and " have you backed up your contacts" NO of course not so another month of not knowing who is calling me. So i need a very rugged and waterproof phone. I have narrowed it down to.

Landrover phone
Sonim xp3300
ITTM Outlimits
Durrocomm

I will not touch the JCB phone as i know at least 3 other farmers who have had the new ones and on is on his third in 2 months.
If any of you have any of the above, i welcome your feedback as I have found a company who is willing to give me any of them free as an upgrade on my Orange contract thephonetrader.co.uk but as it is a 2 year contract, i want to be sure before i sign up again. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Is there any specific reason for wanting waterproof phone?
Are you a diver or something?
It would be silly to pay for a low spec phone (the contract itself for 2 years) if you really just need a more rugged better spec phone.

the land rover phone is made by the same poeple as the jcb one ,Sonim
samsung do a rang of durable phones ,you might be better buying sim free ,has there not too dear and i think thier not worth a 24 month contracted because of the sim free price ,one £105 and the older one is £80

The Motorola defy is water proof/ sand resistant and it will take a lot more then just throwing it on the floor with all your might to break it. Only real problem with this phone is that it doesn't have a hard button to take pictures underwater as you cant really use the screen to do it underwater I've heard.
