Not sure, last time (old house) we had a duo plus, same plumber so suspect be the same...... Hes a good bloke and so previously went with his boiler of choice and didn't have any problems with it.
Might need to review my options then, and go for something shiny with a big old fashioned type head!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Have seen one I really like - Aqualisa Aquatique, not the power shower was looking for but OH didnt like the other ones I showed him. Looking about and on ebay have several but on one it said not suitable for use with a combi boiler. Is this correct please?
Really like the big chrome "drencher" and the look of the exposed valve.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

With a combi its proabably not advisable to go with the 8" head but the 5" fixed head will probably be suitable although do bear in mind the head cant be taken down rinse the shower area or for washing of hair if its over a bath. I can highly recommend the axis digital range which you could configure to have both styles of kit. As for price a company called J A Bathrooms offer some ridiculous prices on Aqualisa0

I have an Aqualisa and its a great shower but I would have a look at somewhere else for purchase as J A Bathrooms and their lack of service have a thread all to themselves here

You really need to find out the make/model/output of your combi before it's fitted. Your plumber may not know anything about your shower plans, and the combi selection will impact upon your options. You've got to live with the choice for years-he hasn't.No free lunch, and no free laptop
