Power Showers

Need to get a power shower for ensuite once extension finished. Looked at wickes and BBQ but haven't really got a clue what I'm looking for.
Really enjoy a shower in the morning, and think good opportunity to purchase something invigorating.
My question is to my fellow MSE's is which one and where from?

As always any advice is much appreciated!!;)

Aqualisa have a decent reputation and come with a 3-5yr warranty.

Generally speaking you get what you pay for and the plumbers I speak to all say Aqualisa after sales is excellant.I've had mine for 18 months and so far so good and has 2 settings 12 & 18 lts a minute and on the higher setting it feels like youve been sandblasted......

we have a shower hose and head that is connected to a pump under the bath and its is much better than an electric power shower on the wall

Found a few "cheap" sites on internet like taps4less, bathroomsulike and betterbathrooms. Seem to be well priced.

    Thanks

Has anyone tried a shower panel?

Have been googling and some have jets and all sorts! Hudson Reed seems to be a brand that comes up a lot. Anyone tried these before? OH not convinced so still searching....

Good evening: can't recommend anything without knowing the source of your hot water supply.;)

    Good evening:

In that case.... a thermostatic shower mixer such as the Aqualisa Midas or Mira Elemnent...flow rate will be dependent on your combi boiler output. You cannot fit a 'power shower' to mains supplied hot water i.e. from a combi or an unvented HW cylinder. More here.
Btw...what model of combi boiler are you having installed?
