Looks like it's gone. As we've said your posting record begins and ends with this thread.

Whomever "we" are, I am seeking possible recovery of my first post here and I respect that my re registering using the same details begins and ends with this thread. I am merely seeking the possibility of ....repeat...recovery of thread in question.

As I said, is this possible or do such glitches be accepted as "gone"

Do you remember where you put it? It will be in the last place that you look - so try there.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

No, for some reason it's gone. Maybe you messed up your original registration and it was never properly there in the first place.

Is it that important? Is it a family heirloom? Can't you live without it?

I've checked all the member profiles created yestereday and the username 'erdd2' is not there.

Unless you posted out-and-out spam then I can see no reason for anyone to remove your post and erase your membership. I think it far more likely that a pc, user or forum error occured and the login and post were not saved.

So start over, and welcome to MSE.

Thanks, but my first member entry was not out and out spam, was not applied yesterday and whilst not a family heirloom as suggested by kermit it was important to myself and responded to by 3 other members.

As stated, "it" was moved and I appreciate that this was a kind gesture to assist me. So thanks for taking the time to help.
