It's daft, they had 46 in Coventry. They started handing tickets out from 2am!

They were all gone by 4am apparently, so I went home Wiiless as we got there at 6am.

Pretty sure this week there SHOULD be a fair few Wii making there way into shops, just need to be on the ball, but tbh i'll happily wait until this whole comotion has sub-sided after todays effort.

Similar story here at Glasgow Parkhead, they got 40. They were only selling the consumer-gouging £279 bundle from what I heard.

husbband went to northampton apparently there were people outside at 9.00pm last night, they dished the tickets out a 6.00am this morning. all gone of course.

54 at Leeds. Don't know the full story... I think they waited until about 7:40 to dish out the tickets so there was about 200 in the queue when I was there.

I didn't get one.

same here - Solihul apparently had 47 in. got there just after 6. they waited until 10 mins before opening time before letting the rest of us know that the first 47 in the queue already had tickets...

They didnt take any names etc. Just was told that they dont know if they were getting any more in.

Just come back form Potsmouth Toys R US empty handed. I got there about 7:45 having been told last night over the phone that they opened at 9:00.

But that wasn't what annoyed me... I had gone down there last Saturday and a lady at the counter said we haven't any in stock but if you give me your name we'll call youwhen our next batch comes in. I'm still waiting for that call!

Teesside Park TRU.

Got there @ 6am and was 59th in the queue and 63 AVAILABLE WERHOO.

Came away with Wii, Wii sports, Zelda, Rayman, GT Pro Series for £289.99 not bad, a tenner cheaper than bought seperate prices.

Just a note though, the £10 off voucher which I did print off and hand in "Is not available with electronics" from the store, so that didn't work, but werhoo, I needed 3 Wii's in total, I have 2 and the 3rd can go without lol.


* People we're queueing since 8pm last night, was -1 when i set off at 6am, they must be mad to sleep out in that cold.( no sleeping bags or tent, just a chair and blanket).

I went to Preston TRU last night at 11.30, camped outside all night. We were advised that there would be around 45 available. We were given a number a lovely lady and waited and waited and waited. The 45 were all there by around 3am then a huge amount came at around 5am. The manager came out at 6am and said that they would give a ticket to each person. We told him we had already sorted that out so he gave us the corresponding ticket.

They let 46 in the store at 6.15am and then we had to wait, he then cam around and asked what package we wanted (they only had 3 choices) and then we had the run of the shop (just the 46 of us as they locked the doors) and also the staff room for brews.

Then at 7.30am we went over to the tills. they could only sell them from 8am and at 8.00.15 secs i became the proud owner of a nintendo wii with 4x4 car game, memory card and extra joypad.

This will not be going on ebay, its mine all mine! !

by the way if anyone else was there, I was number 14.
