This info comes from another forum so not sure for definite.

I remember when the 360 came out and GAME wouldn't sell a console on its own. They would only sell it with 6 other games.

But if you ring up Toys 'R' Us head office and ask them if your store can sell you a console without the bundle then they will probably say you can.

When buying my 360 i simply said to the guy behind the desk that i had made a phonecall to head office who told me i would be able to buy the console without a bundle.
(Truth is, i never made a call at all)
Anyway, he went and got the manager out. I told him the same thing, I had to repeat myself a few times before he would pretend to call head office. Then he let me have one without a bundle.

It's worth a try if you've got the guts to say it

Anybody heading to the Cov branch? Not sure what time to set off, theres 50 for sale and I dont want to be disappointed. Im sure there cant be more than a dozen people stupid enough to camp out...or is there...

do you think people are queing for keeps or to make money on ebay? at least they are limiting to 1 per person, i have visions like you see on the tele people running through the store pushing and shoving and fighting over the little paper slips. Can someone please tell me why these are soo good?

Well i'd like one, no doubt. But i'm not prepared to lose my sanity over a console that in 3 weeks will be all over the place, so i'll head down there for half 6 I think and pitch out my hotdog stand

Wouldn't be xmas without people queueing/scrapping etc at TRU - will no doubt be on the news tomorrow.

The flask could come in handy around 6am...

If you're talking about T'r'U at Deepdale I know several people intend camping there tonight so they must be fairly confident that there'll be some stock.
