Can I change from an Orange contract to Three SIM only
without changing my number?
I'm due for an upgrade on my phone in September, contract runs out in December completely. Looking at the deals that 3 can offer, I can get cheaper contact with more minutes / texts etc, and better coverage.
I could then get a SIM free phone - looking at maybe getting the HTC Sensation...

No problem. Just ask Orange for your pac code, give it to 3 and they'll move the number over for you.
But, Orange won't give you the code if your still under contract unless you pay off the rest of your term as issuing a pac closes the account. . .0 -
Thank you. Another stupid question for you - I can just purchase the new phone once I have my PAC code and then speak to 3 when it arrives to transfer the number across?0

Yes, you can transfer in at any time in the contract.0
