Scared of Jobseekers Allowance

I was claiming Jobseekers for a long time and then I moved onto ESA a few months ago.
But i have been told my ESA was rejected and i have appealed and am waiting for a hearing date
IF I should fail to get ESA and have to go back on Jobseekers is there any way I can not go on jobseekers plus where they make you go on all those courses etc?
The reason I started claiming ESA because my adviser told me if I was depressed on medication and suffering from anxiety and have medical certificates proving i am unfit for work i should be on ESA
but i have learned if ur on JSA I will have to do courses I just cannot face this. I am more likely to be happier getting a part time job than going to these courses I just can't do it
I know it's a while off but i am just trying to prepare myself
is there any way to not do these courses if i forced to claim jobseekers once again

You should get a doctor note to say you are unfit for work/training due to your mental health. And arachnophobia. Also I would try for DLA as well, but get someone to help you fill it in as it can be lengthy. Someone will be along shortly to advice you further.0

My honest advice is direct your thoughts away from what may happen and focus on the ESA appeal. Make sure you are well prepared for the appeal... any evidence you can get in the meantime to support your case would do no harm. Many people do succeed in overtunring this decision at appeal... and it would be tragic if you worried terribly in the meantime for nothing. Having said that there is a possibility your appeal will fail and there'll be no obvious legal route to further this claim. Then the next question will be can you reclaim and do you have to wait... that's something someone else around here I'm sure will know as hard fact. It's also worth noting the climate regarding benefits and back to work type thinking is shifting sands quite wildly at the moment and so it wouldn't surprise me if the grounds shift on that front by the time you get an appeal heard.. so try to reduce your 'what if' thinking if you can... even if at a later date it may have some small benefit in terms of being prepared."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -

Whats DLA?
Disability Living Allowance. It's a non means tested benefit for disabled people (i.e. it isn't an out of work benefit so even working people can get it the same... and your income is irrelevant.. and it is non taxable too). It's there to help people with care and mobility needs... both of which that can arise from physical or mental problems. Application is lengthy but you would ideally get help with that from CAB or the like... and a supportive GP and any other medical professionals would be very useful.

to have a look see if you might qualify for it etc."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -

lol.. easier said than done eh... everyone says 'try not to worry about that it may never happen' but it just reminds you you need to worry about it which you will anyway..lol."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -
