Why No Fixed Rate Gas Only Tariffs?
All the fixed and capped tariffs are either dual-fuel or electricity only. Why don't any suppliers offer them?
If someone for whatever reason doesn't want a dual fuel tariff, but wants a fix on gas only, then why not offer it?

Because people don't have only gas supplied to their property. They either have electricity only, or both.nyarlathotep0

But that does not make a gas only fixed tariff economically unviable?
I can still buy a gas only variable tariff-why not a fix?No free lunch, and no free laptop 0 0

I too think it strange. There's obviously an economic reason but I don't know what it can be if they let you fix the gas as part of a dual fuel deal?0

Eon/Age Concern offer a capped rate gas only tariff"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
