I'm not expecting to get it in time, so if it arrives before Chrimbo I'll be happy! (must admit tho I've been checking the amazon order status site all day....)

Anyone know if I could use a Gamecube RGB Scart cable on the Wii?

I don't think anything other than standard shipping is available from amazon.de to UK. At least I couldn't find any other options :-)

The price has gone up on the german website from €249 to €329.99 now, and they are out of stock...

In this busy period the dispatch emails come fairly late in the day (well after dinner time)

While people are waiting, I found this article about Amazon quite interesting!

Try getting a 3rd party cable from the Wii section on https://www.play-asia.com

I managed to bag a Wii Component cable for under £6, whereas the Nintendo cable is over £20 here, and going for upto £60 on ebay!

GAME in Forestside (Belfast) apparently had 40 on open sale yesterday, all gone now. They don't kno if they will be getting more b4 Christmas. The local Currys has apparently just informed ALL their preorder customers that they won't be getting them for Christmas (I'm sure that went down well).

I have given up (almost) on getting the one I ordered from Amazon last week. It was despatched first class on 16th and has been shown as 'Sorted at hub' since 11.41 on 18th. I rang Parcelfarce today and they said that 'Coventry was snowed under' nad couldn't give me any other detail. Wouldn't surprise me if it has gone 'missing.'

I called Virgin in Belfast today on the offchance and they had just taken delivery of 10, refused to hold one over of course. Made it down in time but had to take a full-price Zelda with it (already had the game). Just 2 left when I left the store. At least I have one now.

Yesterday my cousin went into Game after work looking to buy a Wii. He managed to get one and 4 games (not sure) for £380. I think he said that the person whom had pre-ordered their console didn't come to collect it, so forfeited their opportunity.

Perhaps it is worth a try.
