Presumably the courier deliveries for Amazon are Monday-Friday?

It would appear to depend on the options chosen.

Based on Friday's orders, those who opted for Premimum delivery got them Saturday or Monday by citilink. Those who opted for First Classs got them Monday/Tuesday by Parcelforce.

They may change how they do things though.

I ordered a Wii from Amazon (express delivery) this morning in the mad rush and my order is currently open ("Not yet dispatched").

I saw that others on here who'd done the same were getting the status saying the item was dispatching soon, so I rang Amazon to check.

The woman said there were none in stock at the fulfilment centre, so I'd have to wait until there was more stock. I said this didn't seem right as the site wasn't taking orders if there was no stock. She's sending the fulfilment centre an email to check and will get back to me "in a day or two". Not particularly helpful.

Anyone else still got a status of "not yet dispatched"?

EDIT: LOL - of course having just posted this message I checked again and it's now saying "Dispatching soon". Feel a little more confident now.

You can connect it via SCART or composite phono plug with the supplied cable.

If you want to connect it to SCART RGB or Component (480p) you'll need extra cables.
  • Thanks for that Lorian. Time for a trip to the loft then to root out those spare component leads :)

Nope, you need a special one with a Wii end on it. check back through my old posts (on shop but don't drop) and I've listed probaby the cheapest place to buy a 3rd party one (Import, £7 delivered). Otherwise it's a wait until after christmas for stocks and pay £16 for a 3rd party or £20+ from most UK sources. Oh it was http:https://www.play-asia.com BTW (Hong Kong).

Be carefull not to buy regional goods like games from play-asia (or anywhere else overseas) as the wii is region locked.
