I used Express Delivery and mine's showing as "Dispatching soon - We are preparing these items for dispatch and this part of your order cannot be cancelled or changed." if that's any help.

think people might be bidding using shadow accounts to delay the auctions?

eBay have started hiding bidder ids on bid history to stop other sellers spaming them trying to sell the same product. Thus avoiding fees (or getting money from people who them have no cover!)
