    Virgin Manchester are complete and utter W****rs. Sorry but I have had my pre-order for 2 months now. No phone call today to say they have stock. Just rang them and I have to collect today or they sell it. Trouble is I'm waiting in for the plumber!!! No heating or hot water over christmas or no Nintendo Wii?! If i've pre-ordered surely they should hold it longer than 12hrs?!

    Totally agree punkgirluk.All these companys that do the pre-ordering seem to let down quite a lot of people.

    Both Game stores in the centre of Leeds and Virgin Megastores did get some in this morning, but all went within a few minutes of opening. They won't let you reserve them, and they never know when they're next getting them. They seem to hope for about 6 each morning, and you need to be there before they open to stand any chance of getting them.

    My wii has arrived from amazon - at last. Ordered on friday with express delivery, order sent out friday and arrive today - thats not what I call express delivery. Phoned amazon yesterday to say I had not received it and got told should have so they refunded me my delivery charge. So waiting till today is ok as it is not needed until christmas.

    Thanks to everyone who have posted on here to let others know when and where wii's are in stock :T

    Just got back from town again(!) and it looked like Woolworths in Preston had some. There were cases where the games are saying to take them to the till to get a console, looked to be about 8-10 there.
