I phoned up Game in Brentwood this morning at 8am they are expecting 6 in today and have reserved one for me to pick up this afternoon. ( all reserved now) Its the package with sports and three games plus steering wheel . They are expecting another delivery tomorrow but you have to phone up at 8am to have any chance of reserving one to collect. Try all the game stores as they are offering to reserve hem on the day they come in as long as all there pre orders have been supplied. Good luck.

You can Swap the games or swap a games for an additional controller- If you wish

  • Just managed to get a Wii console from Virgin Mega store in Oxford.

Pretty lucky I suppose as was only in there buying a CD.

Quick question; does the standard unit/package include Wii Sports?

    hi

just managed to get the last one this morning at game kettering branch, they held it for me till 2.00, i know that wellingborough has @6 i think but the manager will not hold them for anyone and will only let them go after 4.00 this afternoon? my husband was going to get a mate to wait for a few hours but then i phoned kettering and low and behold got the last one. i did not really want one but i think we have been caught up in all the hype, still should be a laught over christmas.

i dont know if argos are planning on putting some on the website as the message about preorders and should be getting a delivery prior to christmas has gone and now says not able to order instore or online? worth ringing customer services?

I don't know - but I don't feel it is as good as all the hype is making it out to be..........

But before i get bombarded with replies, that is only my opinion ;)
:) Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like you shouldn't have that opinion. I havent even got mine yet so you are more equipped to have your opinion!

IMHO, the Nintendo consoles have always had the edge on fun party games and that's what I wanted the Wii for. I remember very fondly the multiplayer games on the Gamecube (Monkeyball lander!!) and look forward to my extended family and friends hurling the controller around this Xmas :)

Hope you get to sell it soon.
You can't have everything.... Where would you put it?

Phew - managed to finally get one after bugging Coventry Game for weeks :) I rang about ten-ish and was prewarned they were expecting a delivery of five. I rang again at 11:30 and put my name on one - got down there and all was well (apart from the near punch up with other customers wanting to get one, and the guy at the door offering me £300 for it!). Over the moon as the wife has been desperate to play the next Zelda for over a year now! Happy as you like.
