This is just about making the controller straps stronger. You can make your own stronger version for about 5p.

Advise you all to watch what you say here. My last post has been copied from here and pasted on the hotdeals site, I presume to warn others about a possible problem. Thing is, because most other people seem to have got their orders ok then my post is apparently 'a total lie'.

Not best pleased I have to say.

Also, if I wanted to post on other sites, I would do so.

As an update to the Wii order situation, not only will I not be getting my order, I have 2 (internet) friends who are in the same boat. So whilst it would appear that most orders will be fulfilled, not all of them will be. Yet again Amazon seem to have a hit or miss ordering system and the bloke who was going to sort out the problem about changing the delivery option has yet to call me back. (Although what he can do now is beyond me. )

Interestingly enough, they have managed to charge my cc but this will be refunded immediately so I'm told. :rolleyes:

I've just called, couldn't really understand the man although he was friendly! He said that they are awaiting stock from their supplier to the warehouse. As soon as it arrives they will be sending it out. I should still expect it to be dispatched 18th. I am taking this with a pinch of salt, seems like I do have an order in place just as to when I will actually get it....

Hi, dunno if it'll help but 24studio.co.uk have the wii, i made a order 2 days ago and it stated that i'll probably be getting it early january but i have just been on the website and tracked my order, it now says awaiting stock by suppliers, stock expected 15/12/06 (today), so i called up their helpline and the polite lady said to me that it means that the order should be getting proccessed very soon and that they should have it to me before xmas!!!! and just as i was about to cancel!

Tescos at Bromley by Bow in London have them in stock as my boyfriend works there and puts them on the shelves every day.

Phoned all the Tescos in Nottingham and they say they/ve not had any in at all.

Strange, I just rang Bromley by Bow and they informed me that they don't stock the Nintendo Wii at all...... (No offence intended !) So I rang Tesco's head office and they informed me that due to a supply/ Quality control issue there will be no further deliveries to any of there stores of Wii's until January !!!!

Think I may well have to try the IOU trick Martin suggested, and take my daughter shopping for one in the new year... There's always ToyRus tomorrow (an extra hundred pounds for some bundled junk, no thanks !!!)

Black Saturn - is it possible to confirm through your boyfriend that there are Wiis on the shelves (or in hidden storage) at Bromley at Bow ? I think callers might get a standard "no stock available" answer because of either incorrect information at CS or to discourage (hysterical) rush to get the wii
