Bought the dog to work as it's quiet and only 2 of us in the office. He's VERY happy.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

It's gloomy here today-I don't think my washing will dry outside.
Walked down to town this morning as had to buy a new cooker-an expense I could have done without. Have ordered one and it should come next week.
I called into Tesco on the way and got some value oranges as DH is into making fresh juice at weekends since we got back from Majorca. Tesco still had packs of three peppers for a pound so got one for next week-I'm planning to make tortillas with peppers and chicken.
I also went to the library and manage to get a Debbie Bliss knitting book. My DD is pregnant and I'm busy knitting for her.I don't think I'll be buying Debbie Bliss wool though.
Lunch will be a philly and cucumber sandwich as I have half a tub of philly to use up. I'll use the rest with pasta tomorrow. Dinner will be chcken and mushroom pie followed by Eton Mess as there are a few strawberries left over from yesterday.0 -

Hello all
took Mizmogs down to pick up the torchiere and all he kept saying was "I can't believe you did that" After 35 years of knowing each other I should think he knew what I was like by now:rotfl:
It is lovely and I will put a piccie up as soon as DD gives me the lead back for my camera so that I can upload it.
Met an old friend in town and we spent ages gabbing and catching up, DH was as bored as hell
DH and DD are doing facepainting at the school fete tomorrow and DS is helping out on a stall, so I will have a bit of peace to get a few bits done with nobody underfoot.
Candygirl I stuff mushrooms with vegetable rice and top with grated cheese
Had some washing on the line and it was nearly dry when the heavens opened so I am sorry to say it got put in the TD for 10 mins to dry it off.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Afternoon all
I'm soooo bored at workI elected to stay in the office today rather than go out with either of the work kid groups as I had some admin work I needed to do after my recruitment day yesterday, but it's all done now and I have nothing else to do! I'm all alone in my office, 2 colleagues are in the other office but they are working so don't want to disturb them :rotfl:. It's really annoying cos work have now banned all internet radio stations (we used to be able to get the odd one) and cos I'm in a basement the normal radio doesn't work
Stupidly we are now allowed Facebook access for 2 hours at lunch though! I will skive off about 4 I think.
After work my nan is bringing my 2 younger cousins around to mine (and some chips for tea). So will be nice to catch up with them. I may see if Toyboy fancies a drink later tonight once they have all gone.
I started decluttering yesterday ready for my move in Aug. I have lots of, ahem, copied DVDs which were all in blank cases that I had labelled. They were taking up far too much space so I bought a 100 DVD carry case from Home Bargains for £1.99 and put the DVDs in that instead. I now have a pile of 100 empty DVD cases that I will probably freecycle. But lots more space on my bookshelf. I also have put some stuff by for my younger cousin so will see if she wants any of it before I freecycle/charity shop it.
OS wise - ummmm.......:o.........bu88er all I think!
Have a good evening all
