2 weeks ago i bought a Tablet from the hmv website and got it a couple of days later but when i unpacked it they had sent me the wrong item as it was not a tablet that they had sent me.
So i called them up and told them about it and they told me to send it back to them which i did and sent them details about the postal cost as sent it back to them by DHL.

They got it back the next day and got a e mail from them saying that they will refund it back into my E Wallet on there website as thats how i paid for it and that it will be back in there within 48 hours but after just over a week it is still not back in there.
I have now called them up 3 times about this and they keep telling me that they will pass it onto the office that deals with refunds and that i will get a e mail within 48 hours but i have had no e mails and the refund has still not been made back to me.

i feel that i am getting the run around by them as i know they have got it back as they e mailed me to tell me that they have got it back and each time i call them i get the offshore contact centre and have never talked to anyone from the uk.

it is costing me to keep calling them and im getting fed up calling as i keep being told the same thing over and over again.

so i have e mailed there CE about this so is there anything more that i can do?

I will never shop at hmv again after this.

    Hi, :)

Could you edit out the name of the CEO please? I'll quote the relevant Forum Rule below for you...

But then they did commit to refunding within forty-eight hours.

And they are required to refund within 30 days whether they have received the item back or not.

    Just a update

I contacted there CEO and had a call back from them the same day and refund has been done.

They could not work out why it had taken them so long to do it but now has been done.
