I have just got a laptop on for our business and have set it up to receive emails for our business email address.
I have set it all up and it appears to be working, but the emails that I have sent have not gone - I am not near the laptop so I cant test it again, but does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

It does sound like an smtp issue although as soon as you test it, you would get an error telling you this. Are the emails that haven't sent sat in the outbox and whenever it sends/receives it all looks ok but the emails just don't leave the outbox?0 -

The emails sent were in the 'sent' box when I left last night - my email hasnt arraived and neither has another one that I sent - I am presuming that the third didnt go either,.0 -
I would really appreciate some help here - I am now at the laptop - emails can be received but not sent - I have sent one to myself that hasnt arrived, but they are all in the 'sent' box not out 'out' - I dont want to start messing about with anything - does anyone have any ideas at all???0

I cant tell you as it will give it away - it is through our website, not tiscali or anything like that...
it is set up through IMAP not the other one if that makes sense (it probably doesnt because I dont know what I am talking about!)0 -
Not exactly giving much to work on. Can you at least tell us who hosts the servers? (Like 1and1 or hostgator? etc)
Who is your Internet Service Provider then?0 -
