Can you downgrade a virgin contract?

Options
If someone is on a contract for £32 a month, 30mb speed, can they downgrade to 10mb with no penalties?

Anyone know??

    Are you sure? How do people upgrade then if its non negotiable?

    yes you can.
    i was on 2mb broadband and have jumped up to 10 mg broad band
    but the sales person said if i wanted to drop down again just ring them up and they would change it back.

    Thanks, thats what the rep told me, i will get the superhub and be able to downgrade it, keep the free installation and the superhub and go on 10mb, wasn't sure if he was talking crap or not.

    But bear in mind that any change of tariff/package starts you on a new 12m contract with VM.
