    Personally I wouldn't bother - but if the "fretting" really is consuming every minute of every day, it might be worthwhile in this case.
    We don't use credit in our house. Although having said that there are some bizarre things that "count as credit" that are creeping into everything you do in life these days. e.g. when I tried to get Virgin broadband, I apparently failed their credit checking for the cheapest account.. never thought of any service as being credit before.

    So ... in this house we don't buy things, we don't use credit. It's all very 1850s.

    Might be worth the account holder checking their credit report in case other accounts have been opened. Our victims of fraud team would also be able to offer advice and, if necessary, alert the other CRAs.
